"Dental Health Day"

| WHEREAS: |
in order to promote dental health, the Toronto Academy of Dentistry and the Rotary Club of Toronto-Don Mills are organizing Brush-a-Mania for approximately 25,000 students from 75 schools and |
| WHEREAS: |
all participants will receive instruction in proper oral hygiene, and a kit containing a tooth brush, tooth paste, floss and sugar free gum, and will be required to brush their teeth for three minutes 100 times over the next six weeks and |
| WHEREAS: |
the Toronto Academy of Dentistry and the Rotary Club of Toronto-Don Mills have donated thousands of dollars to various charities in our community. |
| NOW, |
| THEREFORE: |
I, Mayor Mel Lastman, on behalf of Toronto City Council and the 2.5 million people of our great City, do hereby proclaim April 4, 2003 as "Dental Health Day" and encourage everyone to practice optimal dental hygiene and support the Toronto Academy of Dentistry during their annual event. |
