Proclamation
"Old Mill Day"
September 23, 2004

WHEREAS: the Old Mill has been a part of Toronto's history for the past ninety years and today has become a favourite haven for leisure and recreation.
As the crème de la crème for fine dining, the Old Mill creates a warm ambience, unique and cozy settings and provides a place where wonderful moments are kindled and fond memories etched.
Rich in charm and history, it has been a destination for visitors from around the world and has become a true Toronto tradition and a beautiful part of our history.
The Old Mill has contributed to our city's hospitality industry and its warm and welcoming staff and impeccable service have won many a heart.
NOW,
THEREFORE: I, Mayor David Miller on behalf of the residents of Toronto do hereby proclaim September 23, 2004 as "Old Mill Day" and offer our congratulations and best wishes to everyone for a most memorable and enjoyable celebration.
