The curved form of this concept includes a two-storey high, transparent base Market Hall featuring glass canopies to encourage activity on Market Lane and Jarvis Street while allowing sunlight to reach the Hall and surrounding sidewalks.
The east and west elevations bear a pattern of alternating panels sheathed in a thin layer of copper.
The upper north-east corner of the east elevation is cut away and stepped back to preserve views of the St. Lawrence Hall cupola from the street.
A large horizontal window establishes alignments with the third floor of St. Lawrence Hall and the eaves of the South Market.
