Early Local Recreation Registration

When early registration starts, an Enroll Now button will appear on the map for everyone regardless of eligibility. Only those eligible will be able to proceed with registration. Check the map to find out if you're eligible.

As of summer 2025, residents living near six free centres have the opportunity to register early, ahead of the general, city-wide registration start date. Early local registration uses data to create zones based on population, physical access, and social factors to make participating in recreation programs easier for residents.

Early local registration is being evaluated on an ongoing basis.

Participating Locations

All locations are free recreation centres.

Antibes Community Centre at 140 Antibes Dr.
Centennial Recreation Centre - Scarborough at 1967 Ellesmere Rd.
Falstaff Community Recreation Centre at 50 Falstaff Ave.
Pam McConnell Aquatic Centre at 640 Dundas St. E.
Regent Park Community Centre at 402 Shuter St., including activities at Regent Park Athletic Grounds at 480 Shuter St.
Scarborough Village Recreation Centre at 3600 Kingston Rd.

Check if you’re eligible for early local registration by entering your address on the map.

If you’re eligible, you’ll see:

pins on the map showing your location and the community centre you’re eligible for
information in the list under the map with the community centre you’re eligible for, with the message “Your address is eligible for Early Local Registration at [community centre]”

If you’re not eligible, you’ll see:

a link to How to Register for Recreation Programs on the map
a message in the list area under the map: “This address is not eligible for Early Local Registration.”
