A Statutory Public Meeting will be held at the January 22, 2026 Planning and Housing Committee meeting to consider the Final Report, including the draft Official Plan Amendment No. 871, draft Secondary Plan and draft Urban Design Guidelines.
The Scarborough Centre Secondary Plan Study was undertaken by the City of Toronto to address updated provincial legislation, recognize the location of the new subway station, update the Vision and Planning Framework, consolidate area specific planning initiatives not previously incorporated into policy, and respond to development pressures. The vision and planning framework form the foundation for the updated Scarborough Centre Secondary Plan and Urban Design Guidelines.
