Applicants who have received payment instructions in 2025 will have until January 9, 2026 to make payment and provide a Record of Payment to Toronto Building Customer Service (unless otherwise instructed in writing by Customer Service Staff). Failure to do so will lead to the application being subject to 2026 fees.

 

Effective July 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025,  Planning Application Fees reflect the 2025 Cost of Living Adjustment (+4.00 per cent) and updates resulting from the 2024 Development Application Fee Review. The updated fees for each type of application are provided.

Effective January 1, 2026, Planning Application Fees will reflect the 2026 Cost of Living Adjustment (+4.82 per cent). The updated fees for each type of application are provided.

For applications submitting between July 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025, applicants must complete and include the 2025 Fee Schedule with their Planning Application as part of a Complete Submission. For applications submitting on or after January 1, 2026, please use the 2026 Fee Schedule. One Fee Schedule is required for each application. Please download the Fee Schedules workbook, navigate to the relevant tab(s) based on your proposal type, and complete the applicable Schedule(s) prior to submission.

How to save your completed Fee Schedule for submission:

  1. Go to File > Print
  2. Under Printer, select Microsoft Print to PDF
  3. Under Settings, select Print Active Sheets
  4. Under Custom Scaling, select Fit Sheet on One Page
  5. Click Print to save the file as a PDF
  6. Include the PDF with your submission
