Members of the public, stakeholders and interested individuals are invited and encouraged to provide contribution to a review of the Toronto Local Appeal Body’s (TLAB) Draft Revised Rules of Practice and Procedure.
Extensive public engagement has occurred in 2018. Draft Revised Rules of Practice and Procedure are available for review and consideration.
NOTE: On December 5, 2018, the TLAB had before it a draft of revised Rules and Forms for consideration; direction was provided in respect of revisions found within draft Rules 1-30, for finalization. Rule 31 was discussed extensively, with further directions provided. Rules 1-31 and associate Forms, including their revisions and additions were deferred to the following Business Meeting, now scheduled for March 4, 2019. A supporting Overview summary of the process was directed to be prepared and considered together with the composite Rules and Forms revisions. No further submissions on the draft Rules or Forms have been received from the public in the interval December 5, 2018 to date.
Further representations are invited on the proposed Draft Revised Rules of Practice and Procedure.
There will be a one session opportunity to make public oral presentations. If you wish to make an oral presentation, you must register by submitting a completed Registration Form and provide a Written Submission.

Information on the presentation process
1. The TLAB wishes to hear submissions related to TLAB’s Draft Revised Rules of Practice and Procedure. Oral presentations should be organized by specific topic including the number of the Rule.
2. The scheduling and time limits of oral presentations will be at the discretion of the TLAB Chair.
3. If you wish to make an oral presentation, please register and provide written submissions.
