On March 29, 2017, City Council passed Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 142, creating the Toronto Local Appeal Body (TLAB) with an effective date of May 3, 2017.

The TLAB has locally appointed members who will make decisions about local planning matters affecting Toronto neighbourhoods in a fair, consistent, fact-based and informed manner.

NOTE: Members of the public stakeholders and interested individuals are invited and encouraged to provide feedback to a review of the Toronto Local Appeal Body’s (TLAB) Draft Revised Rules of Practice and Procedure.
