Milton Berger Park, formerly known as Tippett Park, is a new 2,580 m2 park located at 21 Monte Kwinter Crt., south of Wilson Avenue and west of Tippett Road. The park is named in honour of Milton Berger, a Holocaust survivor and long-serving Toronto councillor. Berger, who immigrated to Canada in 1949, was a champion of affordable housing, seniors’ housing, and the Holocaust monument at Earl Bales Park. Naming the park recognizes his significant contributions to the North York community.
