Online Survey

Spring 2026

March 2026

Playground design options are being developed and community feedback will be collected in an online survey launching in spring 2026. The options will include an expanded play area, rubber surfacing and equipment for junior and senior play. The new playground will also be fully accessible and fenced along the east side.

Winter to Fall 2025

A site assessment on the playground area was completed in 2025. A design team was hired to develop three playground design options based on community and stakeholder input gathered during community engagement in fall 2024.

December 2024

Online Survey

From November 1 to December 16, community feedback on playground design priorities and preferences was collected in an online survey. The survey was promoted through paid social media ads, the local Councillor’s office, on-site signage, and on the City’s webpage. The survey received a total of 222 responses.

The design team will use this feedback to develop multiple playground design options. These design options will be presented to the community for feedback in a second online survey.

Allan A. Lamport Stadium Park Playground is located on the east side of the stadium.
