The proposed Eglinton East Light Rail Transit (EELRT) is an 18.6 km light rail transit line (future Line 7) proposed to span across eastern Scarborough. Consisting of 27 stops, the EELRT route would start at Kennedy Station and extend to Malvern Town Centre via the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus (UTSC), with a connection to the future Line 2 terminus at Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road. Along the route are five interchanges with other major transit lines.
