The City of Toronto is planning to extend Beecroft Road north from Finch Avenue West to Drewry Avenue. This extension will replace and widen Greenview Avenue, based on the preferred solution identified in the Uptown Service Road and Associated Road Network Environmental Study Report (1993).

The project will include improved pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, along with landscaping and street trees to enhance the public realm. Construction is anticipated between 2027 and 2028.

As part of this work, the City will also close the gap in the Finch Hydro Corridor Trail between Duplex Avenue and Kenneth Avenue, improving connectivity for people walking and cycling.

The Beecroft Road Extension project includes:

  • Extending Beecroft Road, north from Finch Avenue West to Drewry Avenue
  • Completing the missing link in the Finch Hydro Corridor Trail between Duplex Avenue and Kenneth Avenue

Public consultation is an important element of this project. You will have opportunities for input at key stages throughout the detailed design phase. Information about future public consultation events will be distributed by mail and posted here.
