Transportation is available through the Ontario Community Support Association’s Accessible Drive-to-Vaccines program. This service is available to people with disabilities, including seniors with mobility issues, who face challenges accessing safe transportation.
Residents must have a vaccination appointment booked and request a ride at least 48 hours before the appointment. Call 211 or book online.
This program is intended for those who have limited or no access to safe and accessible transportation or face barriers to getting to/from a COVID-19 vaccine appointment.
A support person or family member can accompany you on the ride, if needed.
People who receive social assistance may be eligible for medical transportation funds to help cover costs of travel to receive their COVID-19 vaccination. Social assistance recipients should contact their caseworker to access transportation funds they may be eligible for.
