Your Responsibilities While on the Waiting List

As an applicant, you must keep your information up to date and confirm that you are still eligible for Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) through a 24-month review otherwise you may lose your place on the Centralized Waiting List. Make sure to respond to messages from the City’s Access to Housing office as soon as possible. Check your email (including junk folders) regularly.

Make sure to update your MyAccesstoHousingTO account with:

  • Your most recent Notice of Assessment (NOA) for every member of your household 16 years and over
  • Any changes to personal information such as:
    • Legal name
    • Phone numbers
    • Mailing address
    • Email address
  • Household member changes

Requesting Application Decision Changes

If you need to request a review on your application, you can either request a reinstatement or a review of an application decision.
