Settlement workers are available at fourteen Toronto Public Library sites. They offer one-on-one settlement information and referrals, group information sessions, and community outreach. No registration required.

The Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) program is designed to provide consistent service delivery for newcomer families through local schools. Settlement workers in schools pro-actively contact newcomer students and their families to connect them to available programs and services in the community.

SWIS workers help build a support system for newcomer students, their parents, and school staff to ensure successful learning.

Many settlement agencies are located in Toronto. They provide resources and supports for newcomers and refugees.
