Come celebrate the Roaring ‘20s with activities that are the bee’s knees, jazzy performances and workshops that are the cat’s meow.

This party has something for everyone, whether you are looking for a fun day of croquet, live music and swing dancing, or a more relaxing day with a stroll in a serene garden and enjoying an art workshop.

Bring your picnic basket or purchase food to have a bite in the picturesque gardens while spending the day with family and friends.

Tickets are $28 (adults/seniors) and $20 (children/youth).

  • Come dressed in a 1920s outfit. Use your imagination, show off your creative flair and share your own unique style and culture. Join the costume parade at 3 p.m.
  • Bring your own picnic basket or purchase a snack from onsite vendors, including Authentique Delights gourmet food, European Patisserie baked goods, Birdy’s Daughter coffee and Ed’s Real Scoop ice cream and chocolates.
  • Stroll the lush gardens and play a game of croquet.
  • Explore the grand rooms of the dazzling mansion filled with lavish furniture and beautiful décor. Learn about the family’s life during the 1920s and how they played a part in developing art culture in Canada. See a display of art works by members of the Women’s Art Association of Canada.
  • Browse vintage, handmade and artistic goods from vendors, including Just Simply XO candles, Malty & Hoppy Delicacy jams, jellies and spreads, BirthRite Co. spiritual healing and the museum shop.
  • Be inspired by the exquisite designs of the Silver Society of Canada’s display of Georgian and Edwardian flatware and Toronto’s First Post Office stationery.
  • Capture the perfect moment for Instagram and TikTok.

Drop-in Workshops

  • Learn 1920s dance steps from SWING Toronto.
  • Indulge your artistic side with découpage and collage with the Women’s Art Association of Canada.
  • Try some relaxing origami paper folding.

Noon to 12:45 p.m.: Erhu musician Patty Chan and guzheng musician Lina Cao.

1:15 to 3 p.m.: Ben Harvey and His Ornamentals

3:30 to 4:30 p.m.: Shraddha Pai and the Prismaticks
