This party has something for everyone, whether you are looking for a fun day of croquet, live music and swing dancing, or a more relaxing day of a stroll in a serene garden, an art workshop and a historical tour.

Bring your picnic basket or purchase food to have a bite in the picturesque gardens while spending the day with family and friends.

  • Come dressed in a 1920s outfit. Use your imagination, show off your creative flair and share your own unique style and culture.
  • Stroll the lush gardens and picnic.
  • Grab a snack from European Patisserie baked goods, Birdy’s Daughter coffee and Ed’s Real Scoop ice cream and chocolates.
  • Enjoy the live music of the Wintergarten Orchestra, Ben Harvey and His Ornamentals, erhu musician Gavin Zhang and guzheng musician Lina Cao.
  • Play a game of croquet or make origami creations.
  • Browse vintage, handmade and artistic goods from vendors, including Verlee Atelier perfume, Strawberry Selects vintage goods, Wilder Hansen Art and the museum shop.
  • Be inspired by the exquisite designs of the Silver Society of Canada’s display of Georgian and Edwardian flatware.
  • Want to get your art into a museum? Add your own artistic flair to the garden party’s collaborative art piece which will be displayed in the museum this summer.

  • Indulge your artistic side with interactive workshops hosted by the Women’s Art Association of Canada.
  • Bring or use one of the provided kerchiefs or linens to try dyeing fabric or make botanical transfers hosted by Kelly from House of Hendo.
  • Beat the heat with Tuanshan fan making led by the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto.
