Play Mobile

Play Mobile is a free touring sports program for all ages and skill levels, no registration or reservations are required to participate. With a variety of sports equipment on board, vibrant vans tour neighbourhoods, transforming parks and outdoor spaces into pop-up sport hubs, bringing energy and excitement directly to communities around the city. Try something new, get moving and connect through sport.

Two Play Mobiles feature eye-catching designs by Toronto artist Vivian Rosas and are stocked with a wide range of sports equipment, offering diverse opportunities to play. The new Soccer Play Mobile is dedicated to the world’s most popular game. All ages are invited to learn and celebrate soccer in a fun, supportive environment with no experience required.

Beginners are Always Welcome – Just Come and Play

Each Play Mobile van is fully stocked with sports equipment you need and friendly staff ready to help you get started, learn and play. You can try different sports at your own pace and learn about how to become a City Sports Instructor.

Supervision Requirement

Children under 6 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a caregiver aged 14 or older.

Play Safe

To ensure that everyone has a safe and fun experience with the Play Mobile, please:

• Wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately to play sports outdoors in current weather conditions.
• Be respectful of other participants, their personal space and their abilities.
• Use the available hand sanitizer before and after play.
• Notify staff immediately if you or someone else is hurt or feeling unwell.
• Follow directions provided by staff, including wearing all provided protective gear as required.
• Use sport equipment only after you have received a demonstration from staff.
• Use sport equipment with care and only for its intended purpose.
• Advise staff if any equipment is damaged and do not use.
• Return all equipment to staff after use.
