If you are a new occupant of a re-sale home, a new tenant, a resident in a new development or a new tenant in a residential unit above commercial, without a green bin, you can submit a service request on-line at: http://www.toronto.ca/311/ or you can call 311 to request a green bin.
If you are a new occupant in a new development and have received a letter advising you to order your green bin, contact 311 to submit a service request for a new green bin.
Note: Kitchen containers are delivered with green bins for new developments, please contact 311 as noted above. If you wish to obtain only a kitchen container, they are available at a Community Environment Day event, or they can be purchased from a hardware store.
