MyWaterToronto allows residents to view their water consumption online, track usage trends, and identify spikes in consumption. This guide also explains flat rate accounts, water meter replacements, and steps to address high water consumption or leaks.

- Access your water consumption details online.
- Review trends over time to pinpoint spikes in usage.
- Helps identify potential leaks or unusually high consumption.
Flat Rate Accounts
- Some properties are billed on a flat rate system rather than by meter.
- Flat rate calculations consider:
- Number of dwelling rooms
- Number of water fixtures
- Other property criteria
- These properties do not have water meters, so bills cannot reflect actual consumption.
Water Meter Replacement
- The City has replaced existing water meters with Automated Meter Reader (AMR) water meters under the Water Meter Program.
- Customers who have not installed an AMR meter may be charged:
Water Meter Transmission Unit (MTU) Replacement Program
- The City is replacing all 470,000 MTUs over three years due to premature unit failures.
- MTUs send water consumption data to the City; water meters themselves remain functional.
- Neptune Technology Group will replace MTUs by appointment at no charge.
