The City of Toronto is Toronto’s largest provider of recreation activities for people of all ages and interests. The City offers approximately 16,700 registered courses and more than 151,000 spaces for activities including arts and crafts, sports, yoga, fitness, skating and more.

All activities are listed on the City’s Fall Recreation Activities webpage:
www.toronto.ca/FallRec.

How to register

Registration is available online, by phone and in person. Last year, the City introduced a new online registration system for recreation and cultural activities, facility bookings and memberships. Anyone with an account on the previous system will have to create a new one to register for City recreation or cultural programs or spaces. More information is available on the City’s website: www.toronto.ca/OnlineReg.

Help with registration

The City is offering registration preparation sessions for those registering for fall programs and looking to learn about the features of the new system. Each session will demonstrate how to create an account, search for programs, create a wish list as well as how to register and pay for programs. Participants can also learn how to access the welcome policy program online. Staff will be available to help answer questions.

Residents can join one of the following virtual registration preparation sessions:

  • Wednesday, August 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 3 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 10 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Register to attend a virtual registration preparation session on the City’s Online Registration & Booking website: www.toronto.ca/OnlineReg.
