Registration for the City of Toronto’s summer recreation programs starts tomorrow, Tuesday, June 7 at 7 a.m. Programs begin the week of Monday, July 4.
This summer, more than 6,500 registered courses and summer camps with approximately 111,000 spaces will be offered by the City, including arts, sports, swimming, fitness and wellness. This includes 3,800 summer recreation courses with 34,000 spaces and over 77, 000 spaces for CampTO, which include adapted programs and CampTO Plus. The City is the largest provider of recreation programs for people of all ages, skill levels and interests.
Spaces are still available for CampTO programs, which will run weekly from Monday, July 4 to Friday, September 2. More information is available on the City’s CampTO webpage.
The quickest and easiest way to register for recreation programs is online. Phone registration will also be available at 416-396-7378, beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7. Call centre hours will be extended today from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to help customers in advance of registration.

For in-person registration support, the following five community centre locations will be open on Tuesday, June 7, from 7 a.m. to noon:
A family and client number are needed to sign up and residents are encouraged to have them ready before registration day. To get a client and family number, residents can set up a new account or retrieve their existing numbers online or by phone.
Registration for after-school recreation care and after-school programs for the 2022/2023 school year starts today at 8 a.m. More information is available on the City’s After-School Recreation Care webpage.
The Welcome Policy credit can be used to register for City recreation programs. Those who receive social assistance (Ontario Works) and live in Toronto are pre-approved to receive this credit and should speak to their caseworker. Please note, this news release was updated on June 9, 2022 to correct the number of spaces available in City summer recreation programs. A previous version stated there are 114,500 spaces in 6,500 registered courses. The information has now been updated to reflect that there are 111,000 spaces available between City summer recreation courses (34,000 spaces) and CampTO including CampTO Plus (77,000 spaces).
