A Property Information Report offers details on active building permits, violations, work orders and the zoning designation that may apply to a property.

 

The Property Information Report, sometimes referred to as a “property compliance letter”, and needed for a property transfer or for a possible sale or refinancing of a building or property. It provides information for a specific municipal address regarding issued building permits on file, the status of inspections and any outstanding orders as they relate to the Ontario Building CodeZoning By-law and/or Property Standards By-law. The report does not outline permitted use.

The processing time for a Property Information Report is approximately five business days.
