Project Status
Line 6 Finch West opened to TTC customers on December 7, 2025. Service information, including maps, schedules, station details, and accessibility features, is available on the TTC's website.
Throughout planning and construction, the City worked closely with Metrolinx and the TTC to:
- Coordinate road, utility, and streetscape work to minimize disruption to communities.
- Deliver safe, accessible pedestrian and cycling connections along Finch Avenue West.
- Update traffic signals, curb layouts, and roadway design to support LRT operations.
- Prepare surface transit changes, wayfinding, and public realm improvements.
Looking Ahead
- The City will continue working with the TTC to monitor traffic operations and transit performance along the corridor.
- Post-opening adjustments may be made to traffic signal timing, curbside operations, and surface transit connections as travel patterns evolve.
- Community feedback will help inform ongoing improvements to the street and station areas.
