The City conducted Environmental Assessment studies across Toronto to determine causes of basement and road surface flooding and to identify improvements to sewer and drainage systems. Projects are taking place in basement flooding study areas across the city to improve sewer and drainage systems.
Study area boundaries generally align with sanitary subsewersheds (areas serviced by the same local sewer infrastructure).
