The Green Will Initiative (GWI) invites building portfolio owners across Toronto to partner with the City of Toronto to accelerate the reduction of greenhouse gas emission from buildings, the largest source of emissions in the city.

These buildings hold profound impact and purpose for many Toronto neighbourhoods including schools, hospitals, offices and residential apartments. Portfolios participating in the initiatives have committed to making their communities more sustainable and climate resilient. To date, the initiative has brought together 40 of Toronto’s major building portfolio owners who are committed to leading the way and taking bold action to reduce their buildings’ emissions to net zero.
