Depot Fees
Garbage
$100.00 per metric tonne
- Up to 100 kilograms - $10.00 flat fee
- 100 kilograms and over - $1.00 per 10 kilogram or a fraction thereof (e.g. 125 kilograms of garbage will cost $13.00)
Recycling
$75 per metric tonne
- Up to 20 kilograms - Free
- Over 20 kilograms - $1.00 per 13.33 kilograms or a fraction thereof for the entire amount disposed (e.g. 22 kilograms of recycling will cost $2)
Household hazardous waste and electronics
Free drop-off. Since there is no charge, your vehicle does not need to be weighed.
Deposit
On entering the drop-off Depot, your vehicle will be weighed and you will be asked for a deposit. The deposit amount requested will depend on the type of waste you declare and weight of the vehicle at the time of entry. A minimum of $20.00 deposit will be required. After dumping your load, you will drive over the exit weigh scales and a refund or extra charges will be calculated.
