Description of the group's objectives, geographic focus and activities/plans.

Formed in 1989, the Citizens Concerned About The Future of the Etobicoke Waterfront (CCFEW) is an incorporated not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the enhancement of the quality of life in south Etobicoke community through the preservation and rehabilitation of a healthy waterfront environment. The group is primarily concerned with the impact of (re) development on the natural environment, and seeks to ensure that any new development in the area enhances rather than detracts from the area's natural assets. CCFEW's overall goal is to improve the environmental health of the community thereby improving the overall quality of life in the community and hence, foster new investment in the area.

Events
CCFEW holds a number of public nature walks throughout the year to introduce residents to the important natural features of the community and the wildlife that inhabits it.
