Description of the group’s objectives, geographic focus and activities/plans.

The Taddle Creek Watershed Initiative is a grassroots alliance of resident's associations, businesses and other community organizations, institutions and local environmental groups located in the centre of Toronto working together to give new life to the Creek hidden at the heart of the city. Our common vision is to regenerate the Taddle Watershed based on the following principles:

  • Promotion of alternative methods of stormwater management
  • Active habitat restoration and naturalization
  • Recognition and respect of human and natural heritage
  • Awareness of urban environmental problems

The geographic focus of the historic Taddle Creek Watershed stretches from St. Clair Ave. West to Lake Ontario and from Christie St. to Parliament St.
