Student nutrition programs provide healthy food to children and youth. Volunteers and community partners support breakfast, snack, and lunch programs that operate in schools and community sites. Together, they give kids the nutrients and energy they need to be ready to learn.
A Grant for Student Nutrition Programs
The City of Toronto knows that community-based student nutrition programs help kids start off right. Each year, it awards a grant to school communities to help them offer a healthy meal or snack to their students. Regrettably, it is not possible to award a grant to all qualified applicants or to all programs that received a grant in the past.
