Ditch the mouse and get with your Active Side!

Well-structured sports programs can provide children and adults with opportunities to participate in physical activity that has immediate and long-term benefits. Higher fitness levels, better health and enjoyable social interaction are a few of the fringe benefits of participating in sports activities. Fun and sports go together, whether it's basketball, golf, gymnastics, volleyball or badminton that appeals to you, just get active.

  • Adult Drop-In Basketball (7:30-9:30pm), Adult Drop-In Volleyball (10-12noon) and Walking Program (12:30-2:30pm) at Warden Hilltop CC are cancelled on Feb 13. Class to be made up at the end.

Toronto's Women Softball League

League Goal: To create a fun and safe environment which fosters inclusiveness, fair play and the development of softball skills for females. Game times for all divisions: May-Sept, 6:30 pm/8:30 pm. Each team plays 1 game/week.

Streetbuds Ball Hockey

Before becoming a Maple Leaf you must be a bud, a Street Bud! Local community centres provide the fundamentals of ball-hockey through simple skills development, exercise and fun. The NHL Streetbuds program provides kids aged 4-15 with the equipment and infrastructure to play organized streetstyle ballhockey in a fun and safe environment. East York Curling Club

The East York Curling Club features daytime and evening leagues for seniors, men, women, mixed, juniors, bantams and little rocks. Our season runs from October to April, and curling lessons are offered at the beginning of each season. The facility include 6 sheets of ice, a lounge with a large screen TV, a bar, a fireplace, and parking. Call us for info on memberships, lessons and facility rentals.

Leaside Curling Club

The Leaside Curling Club features daytime and evening leagues for men, women, open, mixed, juniors, bantams and little rocks. Running from September to April, we offer leasures, clinics, club social events and bonspiels. Our facility includes 8 sheets of ice, a Pro Shop, a large spectator area, a lounge with bar and hot snacks, and a fireplace. Call us for info on memberships and facility rentals.
