Toronto EMS is the sole ambulance provider within the City of Toronto boundaries licensed under the Ambulance Act of Ontario to transport patients in an emergency situation. (License #491). Requests for Paid Duty medical coverage should be made through our EMS Community Liaison Officers (Media & Communications Unit).

Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) unit
This includes two Level I Paramedics and one fully equipped, ready to treat and transport ambulance. |

General information
- Dedicated coverage will be provided to your event.
- In the event that we transport a patient from your Toronto location, we will provide a back-fill crew at no charge. This service may also be possible for locations outside Toronto.
- Pricing is subject to change without notice; please call for a current quote. We will provide quotes and assist you in choosing the right EMS medical coverage for your special needs. No additional charges will apply on evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- A minimum 24 hours notice is requested for all bookings. We reserve the right to decline or not guarantee service on bookings accepted under that minimum.
- A $75.00 surcharge will apply to all bookings with less than 24 hours notice, or those placed after normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- All services have a 4 hour minimum and a 2 hour preparation and travel time charge. All charges apply to the nearest half-hour.
- Cancellations made with less than 12 hours notice are subject to a 4-hour service charge.
- We are required to charge 5% GST on all services.
- The City of Toronto will invoice all charges and cheques are payable to "Treasurer, City of Toronto".
