The Financial Planning Division provides services to City Council and management staff of all City divisions, agencies, boards and commissions.

Financial Planning Division has a procedure for receiving and handling complaints and compliments regarding our services, actions or lack of action by a Financial Planning business unit or staff member.

Our goals is to review submitted complaints and provide feedback or resolution in a timely manner.

We monitor complaints and compliments and use them to assess and improve our services.

A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction with a service, actions, or lack of action, by a Financial Planning business unit or staff member.

Complaints containing profanity, rude or inappropriate language will not receive a response.

Complaints received are handled in a strictly confidential manner to ensure your privacy.

What Happens Next

  1. Your complaint will be logged, investigated, and reviewed by management.
  2. For complaints submitted by email, you should receive an acknowledgment of your complaint within two business days that tells you who will be addressing your complaint and when you should expect an answer.
  3. For complaints submitted by telephone, you should receive an acknowledgement of your complaint within two business days that tells you who will be addressing your complaint and when should you expect an answer.
  4. For complaints submitted by mail, you should receive an acknowledgement within 10 business days from the date your correspondence is received.

    Comments are an opinion or suggestion about a service, program, or staff member.

    Your comments and suggestions help us enhance our service delivery model. Please do not hesitate to provide your comments. You are welcome to comment or recommend a change.
