The Technology Services Division (TSD) provides leadership in modernizing City services through strategic investment, digital transformation and management of the City’s technology systems. They partner and collaborate with all City divisions to deliver innovative business solutions and secure, reliable and dependable technology infrastructure in support of City programs and services.
Enterprise solutions at the City include the City’s website and public-facing online services for residents, businesses and visitors of Toronto, including: 311, recreation programs, parking permits, business and development, permits and licensing and transportation and roads. Internally, TSD supports the City’s corporate financial and human resources solutions as well as the City’s technology infrastructure, including a managed network for 700+ facilities, three data centres, 2,700 servers and over 22,000 computers, 3,500 multi-function devices and 10,000 wireless devices.
