The City is adding a new playground and splash pad to Bluffer’s Park. The project will be guided by the ongoing Bluffer’s Park Action Plan, a long-term plan for the renewal of this beloved Scarborough park. The proposed location will be determined based on a number of factors, including proximity to parking, cycling and public transit options, nearby washroom facilities and below-ground infrastructure. The design of the playground and splash pad will be shaped through community engagement in spring 2027.
The timeline is subject to change. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2028/2029, pending funding approval and the completion of the Bluffer's Park East Washroom and Site Improvements project.
