The TGS Checklist is required for all planning applications and resubmissions for any City building Project greater than 100m2.
Statistics templates (apply to applicable plans and drawings to assist in the review of your planning application for compliance with the TGS).
The Checklist is part of a Complete Application and must be submitted with your development application. It should also be attached to the RFP for the design team selection and used by the project manager and the design team to track achievement of the requirements for City-owned facilities. The Checklist must indicate the plan or report where the compliance is noted and demonstrated.
Regularly update the Checklist and include it with each resubmission of the planning application.
For Site Plan Control Applications complete the full Toronto Green Standard Statistics Template. For stand-alone Zoning By-law Amendment applications, only complete Section 1 of the template. Copy the completed Statistics Template directly onto the Statistics Plan or the Site Plan submitted with your application.
This template is required to be submitted for all Site Plan Control or Building Permit applications where a green roof is required under the City of Toronto Green Roof Bylaw. Complete the table and copy it directly onto the Roof Plan submitted as part of any Site Plan Control Application requiring a green roof in accordance with the Bylaw. Areas of solar PV may be subtracted from the available roof space or be combined with green roofs.
Ensure that the plans, drawings and reports submitted with your development application clearly demonstrate compliance with TGS performance measures and include adequate detailed notations and legends.
