A Section 22 order under the Health Protection and Promotion Act, requires all elementary and secondary school students to transition to online/remote learning starting April 7. During this time, child care centres and licensed home child care are prohibited from providing service to kindergarten and school aged children. Emergency child care is available for essential workers with school-aged children during the closure period.

The following TELCCS programs are affected by the Section 22 order and will not be operating their Kindergarten and School Age programs:

Toronto Home Child Care reopened on July 27, 2020.  We will reach out to families directly as individual providers reopen their homes.

 

Toronto Home Child Care (THCC) is a licensed home child care agency operated by the City that has contracts with independent providers who offer early learning and child care in their private homes.

Toronto Home Child Care is a great option for families who prefer smaller groups and flexible hours of care.
