321 Dovercourt Rd.

The three-storey modular building includes 44 studio apartments, common rooms, a dining room, and program space, designed to support people who are exiting homelessness by providing affordable homes with support services. The building opened on January 28, 2021, approximately nine months after being approved by City Council. Learn more about modular supportive housing.

City Council, at its meeting of June 29 and 30, 2020, adopted the Modular Supportive Housing report requesting the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing to make a Minister’s Zoning Order to amend the zoning regulations and permit the construction of the modular housing proposals at both 11 Macey Ave. and 150 Harrison St.
On July 8, 2020, the Minister of Municipal affairs and Housing made Ontario Regulation 354-20: Zoning Order City of Toronto for the site at 150 Harrison St. enabling the City to implement the modular housing proposals more quickly in order to respond to the urgent need for affordable and supportive housing.
