Disclaimer: Not all rental buildings are included. Only apartment buildings with three or more storeys and 10 or more units. Condo buildings, townhomes, or units in a private home (basements or main floor apartment) are not part of the listings shown below.
Types of Violations & Inspections
- Bylaw Violations – Confirmed bylaw violations related to property standards, waste, heat and other municipal requirements. This included notices of violation, orders to comply or emergency orders.
- Fire Violations – Properties where fire safety inspections have been carried out by a Fire Inspector. If issues are found, they must be fixed to meet the Ontario Fire Code.
- Building Code Orders – Properties where a Building Inspector has identified violations of the Ontario Building Code or the Building Code Act and issued orders requiring corrective action.
- Health Hazards – Concerns related to indoor health hazard conditions, such as indoor air quality, bed bugs and sanitation.
