Toronto Stadium at Exhibition Place
June 12 to July 2, 2026
The Community Celebration Support Fund provides funding for vibrant, main street and community-driven cultural projects and events that celebrate Toronto’s “World in a City” theme. Eligible local community organizations can apply for support to cover costs related to planning, promoting and delivering community celebrations during the tournament. Apply by 5 p.m. on October 1.
The “beautiful game” is coming to the beautiful city of Toronto.

As the fourth largest city in North America, Toronto is a proud host city for the FIFA World Cup 26™ along with 15 others in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
Embodying the “The World in a City” theme, Toronto showcases its passion for soccer and multicultural identity. The City’s diverse neighbourhoods, united by a profound love for soccer, eagerly anticipate welcoming fans from around the world. With more countries, cities, teams and matches, the FIFA World Cup 26™ is expected to be the most inclusive and diverse sporting event ever.
The tournament and its legacy are expected to generate significant economic, cultural and community benefits for Toronto by creating thousands of jobs, welcoming visitors from across the globe and generating hundreds of millions of dollars in positive economic output. The tournament is also expected to drive growth in local participation in soccer through role models, enhanced playing facilities and improved coaching and organizing capacities as legacies.
FIFA Fan Festival™
The FIFA Fan Festival™ takes place at Fort York National Historic Site and The Bentway during the FIFA World Cup 26™. Experience live broadcasts of matches on large screens, music, art, food and unforgettable vibes at this free, all-aged festival. It’s where Toronto’s global heartbeat meets the beautiful game – a place to cheer, dance, snack and celebrate with fans from around the world.

Ticket Information
Fans can register to receive FIFA World Cup 26™ ticket information at FIFA.com/tickets. The first opportunity for a chance to buy tickets begins with the Visa Presale Draw from September 10 to 19. Other opportunities will follow throughout the fall.

The City of Toronto will host six matches, kicking off on June 12, 2026, with the first-ever men’s FIFA World Cup™ match on Canadian soil and featuring Canada’s Men’s National Team. Toronto is also hosting a round of 32 match on July 2, 2026.
