This is a free community program powered by Equip Sport and the free Equip Sport mobile app and funded by Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities.
Toronto City Council has approved a one-year pilot. Staff will evaluate the program and report back to Council in early 2027.
Station locations were chosen with a minimum of one per city ward. Additional stations were placed in parks selected for accessibility, amenities, and ease of maintenance. All locations were vetted by City staff in consultation with local ward Councillors.
The sponsors are entirely responsible for funding and maintaining the service.
The stations (also called lockers) are part of a City-approved project to give free access to sports equipment at select parks.
For station usage, product issues or station questions, Equip Sport’s support team is the right contact.
