StrollTO is set of self-guided walking tours and a legacy initiative, first launched in 2020, to help the city rebuild from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Indigenous Content

The descriptions for any and all points of interest relating to or directly describing Indigenous content are a very basic introduction to Indigenous Placemaking and knowledge sharing. As settlers of this land, we recognize the enduring presence of Indigenous peoples and we acknowledge that we are not the knowledge keepers of this information. Indigenous Knowledge is only fully engaged through ongoing ethical participation within Indigenous communities and protocols. These strolls are living documents and as we embark upon an enriching partnership with First Story and the Indigenous Affairs Office we are deeply committed to a process that allows for the consultation, review and revision of this content. Sharing and witnessing Indigenous narratives through oral tradition will be at the forefront of our work together.
