Community Climate Action Grants

The City of Toronto offers community climate grant programs that support residents, community groups and organizations in taking local climate action.

These grants:

  • Fund projects that advance climate resilience
  • Reduce emissions
  • Strengthen biodiversity
  • Engage communities in environmental stewardship

Neighbourhood Climate Action Grants

Up to $7,500 for resident-led projects that reduce emissions and engage communities in climate action. Apply by October 2.

PollinateTO Grants

Up to $5,000 for community-led pollinator and rain garden projects that enhance biodiversity and support native pollinators. Apply by October 21.

Black-Led Climate Action Grants

Up to $50,000 for climate action initiatives led by and benefiting Toronto’s Black communities. Apply by October 2.

Youth Climate Action Grants

Up to $1,000 for student-led climate action projects through a partnership between the City of Toronto, Toronto District School Board and the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Apply by October 30.

Funding to support Indigenous-led projects that help to address the climate crisis and improve resilience.
