Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are based on Starlight’s Scope 1 (natural gas) and Scope 2 (electricity) emissions, with a 2020 base year. Starlight surpassed its targeted 2 per cent reduction in annual GHG emissions with a reduction of 7 per cent GHG emissions intensity reduction year-over-year.
With an 8 per cent energy intensity reduction year-over-year, Starlight surpassed its targeted 2% reduction in energy from 2020-2021. Starlight completed +550 energy saving projects in 2021.
