In 2010, the City of Toronto Archives, in conjunction with TCI Management Consultants, embarked on the development of a ten year strategic plan to envision the future of the Archives.

This process involved comprehensive stakeholder and community consultations, an on-line survey and an assessment of best practices of other prominent archival institutions around the world.

The resulting strategic plan provides a framework which identifies four key goals with associated short, medium and long term phases to achieve these goals within a ten year period. We invite you to read through this strategic plan and learn more about the many initiatives and improvements in our services and programs that we hope to realize in the coming years.
