On October 29, 2019, City Council approved the Toronto-Ontario Transit Partnership. This partnership lays out roles, responsibilities, and next steps to bring more transit to Toronto and the GTHA.

Toronto is a global city with public transit services integral to the City and Region’s vitality. Transit in Toronto is an integrated multi-modal system made up of local and regional services. Our infrastructure needs to be maintained and expanded to meet our growth.
