The Toronto Green Standard (TGS) for Low-Rise Residential applies to development applications with less than 4 storeys where a Site Plan Control application is required. Updated TGS checklists can be found under Checklists & templates below.
- Applications submitted on or after May 1, 2022 are required to meet all mandatory performance measures identified in the Interim Version 4 checklists and encouraged to meet any voluntary Tier 1 performance measures.
- Applications pursuing the voluntary Toronto Green Standard Development Charge Refund Program must meet the program requirements, Tier 2 or 3 voluntary performance measures and all Tier 1 mandatory and interim voluntary performance measures
