We invite your input and participation to help shape draft policy directions which will be presented at a Community Open House. In July 2018, North York Community Council directed City staff to prepare a draft Secondary Plan based on directions and a preferred concept that was developed with public input from many sources, including past open houses and workshops. The Secondary Plan will be comprehensive and will set out long-term objectives, identify where development should occur and its intensity, provide direction on land use, building types and heights, and guide improvements to streets, parks and other public spaces among other matters.

Approximately 70 people joined us at this first public meeting to learn more about the Study and to offer their input on what works in the area and what could be better in the future. The meeting was led by City Planning and attended by Metrolinx and the TTC. We will use your input in considering where, how and by how much the area can grow. Public spaces, building design, transportation choices, community services, infrastructure and business growth are all part of this Study.
