Toronto Public Health (TPH) is the lead agency responsible for coordinating all screening and intervention services related to the Preschool Speech and Language Program in the City of Toronto. There are several different community and neighborhood based agencies working together with TPH to make sure preschool children have access to the kind of clinical services they need.

We partner with hospitals, child and family centres, and child development clinics to ensure a wide range of locations providing quality services to families and their children in Toronto.

Geographical Service Areas (GSA)

Children with speech and language delays receive services from one of the five geographical service areas (GSA).

Specialized Services

Children with speech and language delays and additional complex medical needs will receive treatment through our specialized services partner agencies.
