To support apartment building owners and operators and improve sustainability and resident experience, the City of Toronto enforces bylaws about building maintenance through RentSafeTO: Apartment Building Standards, supports apartment building operators to revitalize older apartment towers through Tower Renewal programs and provides loans, grants and programs to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
