As part of the Community Investment Funding program, the City of Toronto offers grants to help achieve social, economic and cultural goals for Toronto residents. Grants are available on a time-limited basis to support new and emerging groups, support sector resilience, and encourage resident engagement and leadership development.

Neighbourhood Grants

Grants for resident-led groups to help them inspire their neighbourhoods with events or activities and advance key themes in the Toronto Strong Neighbourhoods Strategy 2020.

Community Events

One-time funding to support events and short-term activity series to foster resident engagement, active living and leadership. The program is currently closed.

Capacity Building Grants

Grants to help build the capacity of not-for-profits to govern effectively, support resident leadership and other capacity building initiatives. The program is currently closed.

Identify 'N Impact Grants

One-time grants of up to $10,000 for grassroots, youth-led groups to advance the City's Toronto Youth Equity Strategy. The program is currently closed.
