As part of the Community Investment Funding program, the City of Toronto offers grants to help achieve social, economic and cultural goals for Toronto residents. Grants are available on a time-limited basis to support new and emerging groups, support sector resilience, and encourage resident engagement and leadership development.

Neighbourhood Grants

Small grants for residents of the 31 Neighbourhood Improvement Areas and 8 Emerging Neighbourhoods to develop projects that advance the key themes of the Toronto Strong Neighbourhoods Strategy 2020.

Community Events

One-time funding to support events and short-term activity series to foster resident engagement, active living and leadership.

Capacity Building Grants

Coming in 2019, grants to help build the capacity of not-for-profits to govern effectively, support resident leadership and other capacity building initiatives.

Identify 'N Impact Grants

One-time grants of up to $10,000 are available to grassroots youth-led groups to advance the City's Toronto Youth Equity Strategy.
